Dad doing better, updates now on blogger

Friends and Family:

I have moved the updates to a blog to make it easier for just those interested in following day-to-day news to do so.

Dad continues to improve. His last epsiode of afib was over 24 hours ago and it was short. The main issue right now is a lack of sleep. Dad is showing signs of sleep deprivation and is having a hard time resting (as one can only imagine).

The good news keeps growing. He has had the right chest tube removed, and the left chest tube should come out soon (probably this afternoon). He walked around the hall a little today and his heart rate did not elevate. His pain levels have gone down to the point he is not using his pain pump nearly as much. Also, he has been able to cough up phlegm and his lung x-rays all look good.

I will try to post an update every day. You should be able to subscribe to the blog to be notified when it is updates, let me know if you have trouble with that.

Love,
-Andy
